5th July 2017

Last night a host of staff, students and their families attended the July 2017 Celebration Evening. With barely an empty seat in the Auditorium, it was fantastic to see so many people supporting the occassion, which celebrated the successes and achievements of our students. Amongst the invited guests were Alumni speakers - one formerly of Hatfield High School, and one formerly of both Hatfield Visual Arts College and latterly Ash Hill Academy - who kindly offered to act as hosts for the Subject Awards.

Between the two rounds of Subject Awards, there was a performance by Year 10 student Ellie Oakley, who sang 'Into the Woods' and received rapturous applause. After the standard certificates had been delivered, it was then time for the awarding of two very special honours - the Principal's Award, and the Hannah Brown Award. The latter is awarded to a student who has shown true enthusiasm, determination and compassion whilst studying at Ash Hill Academy, and was delivered by Mr & Mrs Brown to a very deserving recipient - Jordan Spencer (Year 10).

We would like to thank all the students, families and staff that attended the evening and hope to see both them and more at the next Celebration Evening. Below are a handful of images from the event:
