Years 7 and 9 – Monday 5th September 08:00
Years 8, 10 and 11 – Tuesday 6th September 08:00
Parents and students are reminded that the new academy day will be in effect, from the first day back, and reminders will be given during assemblies as well as form time.
The Academy will be open as normal on Tuesday 5 July 2016.

The academy is holding its Post 16 Open Evening on Thursday 8 October 2015 5.30pm to 7pm.

The academy re-opens after the summer holidays on WEDNESDAY 2 SEPTEMBER 2015. All students should arrive at 8.20am for a 8.30am start to lessons.
Year 7 students should go direct to the auditorium at 8.30am and all other students should go to their registrations rooms.
Students from the academy took part in the Doncaster Athletics Trials on Tuesday. They performed extremely well despite the incredibly windy weather! Students supported each other as the different events took place and some also assisted the officials with measuring, recording and collecting equipment. A huge WELL DONE to all the students who participated.

Ash Hill Academy students Katie Bagnall and Jade Kerry were part of the Hatfield Fliers Team who were runners up 2014/15 in the Under 16 Girls North Basketball League.

Students attending the SPTA Games had a fantastic day. The supported each other well throughout the competition. Many of them also managed to get ‘selfies’ with Jessica Ennis and watch boxer Anthony Joshua being interviewed by Sky Sports, which added to the experience!

Ash Hill students Katie Bagnall and Jade Kerry played a major role in the Fliers U.16`s comfortable win against Liverpool based team, Sefton Stars. Both students had career high scores with Jade using her speed to good effect to score eleven points and Katie chipped in with eight. This was the Fliers tenth league win of the season with a 70 – 17 victory to maintain second place in the league.. Fliers Under 13 team consolidated their position at the top of the Leeds Central Venue league with five excellent victories over teams from York, Leeds, Wakefield, Deighton and Harrogate. All nine players attended primary schools in Hatfield and seven are now at Ash Hill Academy. The outstanding performer was Joel Miller who scored in a variety of ways, handled the important point guard role and marked the Leeds Team’s best player holding him to just two baskets in the two matches played against the hosts.

On Wednesday 14 January 2015, some of our students represented the Academy in a Y7/8 Active Fusion Basketball Tournament at Danum Academy finishing runners up. They played four games, winning three and losing one game. They all represented the academy fantastically well.
