Year 11 – Final Push: English Literature Booster (Sunday 10th May)

As we approach the first GCSE examination, we are reminding all parents and carers of our English Literature Pre-Exam Booster Session this Sunday.

🍩 Donuts and ice creams provided

This session is focused on the areas that matter most:

  • Macbeth
  • Poetry Anthology (Prelude, Hawk Roosting, The Manhunt, Ozymandias)

Students will be working directly with specialist teachers on:

  • Key quotations and themes
  • How to structure top-grade answers
  • What examiners are really looking for

The exam is the very next day – Monday 11th May.

This is about giving every student the best possible chance to succeed.

Every lesson, every session, every conversation matters at this stage. Time in the academy with expert teachers will always have the greatest impact. This session is part of that final push.

Last year, almost all students attended sessions like this and it made a real difference to outcomes.

We are proud of how hard this year group has worked. Now is the time to finish strong.
