Ash Hill Academy is proud to celebrate the achievements of our Year 9 students as they prepare to graduate from Key Stage 3 and begin the next stage of their journey into GCSE studies.
The Key Stage 3 Graduation recognises students’ commitment, resilience, attendance, effort and involvement in academy life throughout their first three years at Ash Hill Academy. Students have worked incredibly hard to demonstrate the values and expectations of the academy, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Graduates will receive one of four awards: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum, based on a range of criteria including attendance, behaviour, academic effort, enrichment participation and completion of home learning. The awards are designed to celebrate not only academic success, but also the personal growth and dedication students have shown across all areas of academy life.
The graduation ceremonies, taking place on Monday 6th July and Tuesday 7th July, will provide students and families with an opportunity to reflect on their achievements and celebrate this important milestone together.
As part of the graduation process, the academy introduced a refreshed start to attendance and behaviour tracking from March 2026, giving every student the opportunity to demonstrate improvement, commitment and readiness for Key Stage 4.
The graduation programme forms part of “The Life of an Ash Hill Student”, which celebrates the wide range of opportunities, experiences and achievements available to students throughout their time at the academy. From enrichment and leadership opportunities to academic success and personal development, the programme highlights the importance of developing well-rounded, ambitious young people.
We are incredibly proud of all our Year 9 students and look forward to celebrating their successes with families, staff and the wider academy community.
